Athenaeum: (ath-e-nae-um; [ath-uh-ney-uh m]) an institution dedicated to the advancement of learning, specifically arts and sciences. In Ancient Greece, the word Athenaeum referred to buildings dedicated to Athena, the goddess of wisdom, and in particular to a temple in Athens where poets, philosophers, and orators gathered to read and discuss their work.

A variety of art methods and mediums will be utilized throughout the school year.

Class sizes are small and we consider this one of our selling points! Smaller class size means more individualized attention from teachers and more progress!

Absolutely! We want YOU to help pick the experience and the classes that suit your family! We have included some academics for families that would like some accountability in that area, but you can certainly choose to take elective classes only!

We recommend students entering 1st grade through high school as our ideal candidates for the program.

Students taking ballet or tap will need appropriate shoes. Students taking musical instrument lessons ideally need to have access to that instrument at home. Students in First Lego League and Odyssey of the Mind will have additional fees. Some academic classes may require additional curriculum or literature and these will be handled per class.

Yes! High school students may earn high school credits per classes that they are enrolled in. Please speak with our Director regarding credits prior to completion of enrollment.
